OUR MISSION
Promote the concerted and participatory development of communities through dialogue, interaction and promoting partnerships and the contribution of public and private actors, guaranteeing the sustainability of communities.
AMDEC – Associação Moçambicana para o Desenvolvimento Concertado, is a national non-profit organization, with legal personality, administrative and financial autonomy, created in September 2003, as a way of joining efforts with a view to providing a more integrated and concerted response to the challenges of community development, as well as contributing and participating in the socio-economic development process in Mozambique.
The organization operates in the areas of education, health, food security and nutrition, water and sanitation and citizenship, having implemented more than 30 projects, which directly benefited more than 1 million people across the country.
It has a national scope of action, with headquarters in the City of Maputo, and offices in the Provinces of Maputo, Gaza, Inhambane and Sofala.
It is an entity with a perspective of institutional growth, which is why it seeks other partnerships as a way of creating an exchange of experiences with other national and international actors.
Promote the concerted and participatory development of communities through dialogue, interaction and promoting partnerships and the contribution of public and private actors, guaranteeing the sustainability of communities.
AMDEC adopts two visions as a reference. One, the social vision, which determines what you want society to be in the future, and the other, the organizational vision, which determines what AMDEC will be in the future.
A well-organized association, with more integrated members, with its own resources, recognized technical competence in facilitating concerted development, establishing stronger partnerships and intervening in more communities.
